Meet your injector

Tate Bates, RN, BSN

Registered Nurse & Aesthetics Nurse Injector · Amélie Vancouver

Tate came to aesthetics from the hospital floor. After an accelerated nursing program at Herzing University, she worked as a Medical-Surgical RN at the University of Wisconsin Hospital before moving into Oncology. Caring for patients with complex, detailed care plans gave her a real eye for precision.

Now she brings that same care to every tox appointment. She listens first, takes the time to understand your goals and your features, and keeps your results natural. And like every Amélie injector, Tate works under the oversight of our Medical Director, Joseph Chiovaro, MD.

Botox® or Dysport®? Both are 20% off.

Both are FDA-approved neuromodulators that relax the muscles responsible for expression lines, helping soften their appearance while keeping your expressions looking like you.

At Amélie, our approach is always natural, refined, and never overdone. Every treatment is performed by trained medical professionals and overseen by our Medical Director, with careful attention to facial movement, balance, and your individual goals.

Dysport®

Fast and smooth

$4per unit · Regularly $5

Acts quickly and diffuses smoothly, which makes it especially nice for larger treatment areas.

Good to know

Dysport units are measured differently than Botox units, so you’ll need more units of Dysport for the same result (about 3 times as many). So at $4 a unit, a Dysport treatment ends up costing about the same as Botox. You’re choosing based on what’s best for your face, not your wallet. Tate will walk you through your exact plan and cost before anything begins, so there are never any surprises.

Common questions

Where is this special available?

Tox with Tate is available at Amélie Vancouver, 595 W Columbia Way, Vancouver, WA 98660, for appointments with Tate Bates, RN, BSN, now through December 31, 2026.

Is it for new or existing patients?

Both. New patients can book using the “New patients” button, and existing Amélie patients can use the “Existing patients” button. Or just call or text us at 360-690-1123 and we’ll get you on Tate’s schedule.

When should I book to be ready for the holidays?

Aim for at least 2 to 3 weeks before your event. Tox takes about two weeks to fully settle, and that leaves room for your complimentary touch-up. December fills up fast, so earlier really is better.

How many units will I need?

It depends on the area, your muscles, and your goals. Tate will look at how your face moves and give you a personalized plan, with the exact number of units and cost, before your treatment starts.

Why does Dysport cost less per unit?

Dysport is dosed differently, so it takes more units to get a similar result to Botox. About 3 times as many. Tate will help you choose the right one for your goals and your budget.

Does it hurt?

Just a quick, mild pinch. Most people compare it to a tiny bug bite. We use very fine needles and the whole thing is over in minutes.

Is there downtime?

Not really. You might have a little redness or a small bruise at an injection site. Avoid strenuous exercise and lying down for a few hours after your appointment, and you’re good to go.

Will I look frozen?

No. Tate’s goal is soft, natural results. You’ll still have your expressions. You’ll just look more rested.

Who shouldn’t get tox?

Treatment isn’t recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding, with certain neurological conditions, or if you’re allergic to any ingredients in the product. Tate will review your health history with you first.
